Pigeon fanciers call the disease 'canker'. The cause is a single-cell organism with flagellates: Trichomonas gallinae. It is a disease of young pigeons with inflammation and ulceration in the oesophagus, crop and proventriculus. Characterized by yellowish necrotic lesions: caseous necrotic material. The main source of infection is contaminated drinking water and infected parents feeding their young. The incubation period is 3 to 14 days.

Ingredients(each tablet contains):
- Carnidazole 10.0 mg

Dosage:
- ROUTINE TREATMENT: young pigeons at weaning begin routine treatment approxiametly December 1st. Adult Pigeons before mating or approximately October 1st, during the first part of the brooding period, and after returning from races when the birds have been in the travel boxes for a long time
- THERAPEUTIC TREATMENT: when Trichomonas infection has been diagnosed

TRATAMIENTO DE RUTINA
- 1 pastilla por paloma antes del apareamiento. 1 pastilla por pichon al tiempo del destete y en la temporada deportiva una pastilla por paloma al regreso de la carrera
- Si una infeccion a sido detectada 1 pastilla diaria por paloma por 3 dias
