IVOMEC (ivermectin) 1% Injection for Cattle and Swine is a broad-spectrum control for both internal and external parasites of cattle and swine.

One low-volume dose effectively treats and controls the following internal and external parasites that may impair the health of cattle: gastrointestinal roundworms (including inhibited Ostertagia ostertagi in cattle), lungworms, grubs, sucking lice, and mange mites of cattle. Because a withdrawal time in milk has not been established, do not use in female dairy cattle of breeding age.

Studies have shown that IVOMEC 1% Injection for Cattle and Swine given at the recommended dosage controls infections of Dictyocaulus viviparus and Ostertagia ostertagi for 21 days after treatment; and Oesophagostomum radiatum, Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus axei, Cooperia punctata and Cooperia oncophora for 14 days after treatment.

Composition:
IVOMEC 1% Injection is a clear, ready-to-use, sterile solution containing 1% ivermectin, 40% glycerol formal, and propylene glycol, q.s. ad 100%.

Dosage Treatment:
Administer 2 drops down the throat for 1 day. Repeat treatment in 21 days. For external parasites, administer 10 drops per gallon of bath water.

Dosage is only hearsay for pigeons.
