FORTALYT contains the essential amino acids as well as vital electrolytes such as sodium, potassium,

magnesium, calcium, citrate, sulphate and lactate. These electrolytes, which are also called ions or

salts, play an important role in the fluid and acid-base balance in tissues and organs.

The exhausting efforts to which pigeons are subject during the racing season and the breeding period

generally induce a high loss of ions and salts, as well as a quick breakdown of proteins. This often

leads to dehydration and the disturbance of the biological balance as a result of the accumulation of

acids and breakdown products.

FORTALYT, which contains carefully selected electrolytes and specific proteins, is the ideal product

for pigeons to obtain a quick recovery during the racing season and the breeding period.

The proteins in FORTALYT consist of short chains of amino acids, called polypeptides. These kinds of

amino acids guarantee a quick absorption in the intestines and a rapid transport to the tissues,

which shortens the recovery period substantially.

The administration of FORTALYT during the breeding period is of the highest importance. At this time,

the product should be administered in order to obtain a perfect formation of the shell and a crop

milk rich in energy and minerals. Doing so, the parents will drink less, which will prevent the young

pigeons from serious diarrhoea.

How to use?
1 spoonful (10 g) in 1 litre of water or 2 spoonfuls per kilogram of food

When to use?
During the racing season: at "home-arrival" - FORTALYT may be administered together with OMNIFORM,

OROVITAL or VITAMIX.
During the breeding period: 2 or 3 times weekly
During weaning period of young pigeons: daily for 10 days
