- Mick Betts of Doncaster
Highest prize winner at Club every season that he has flown since 1994. In 2001 Mick joined the Midland National Flying Club and competed successfully in 2 races. His recent results include; 1996- 15x1 sts; 1998-6xlsts; 1999- 9xlsts only sent to 3YB races; 2000-8xlsts missing 5 races; 2001- 16xlsts, he took 1st, 8th, 17th, 49th, 80th & 89th Midland National FC North East Section. Mick also took 1st, 12th, 21st, 62nd, 101st & 111th Open Midland National FC. He also won a RPRA Award for Best Performance All Distances with Galileo.

- Rodgers & Taylor of Rotherham
Alan Rodgers and Arthur Taylor have been involved with Pigeon Racing for more than 60 years combined. Both were extremely good flyers on their own but they formed into a formidable team a few years ago winning at Club and Federation level. They are currently the top prize winners in the competitive Dearne & District Federation. During 2001 they scored a remarkable double - they took 1,2,3 twice in the Federation! They race their young yearlings team with an ingenious system they have developed. One that can bring results to anyone who tries it. Alan & Arthur get an enormous amount of fun and pleasure from racing pigeons but they are true masters when it comes to racing.
