Introduction to LOFT Aide

Let me be the first to extend a friendly welcome to all fanciers, new and old. First thing first, please allow me to introduce myself. I am your interactive aide for all matters related to designing, building, and accessorizing your new or old loft. If you have not had the pleasure as of yet, you will meet my siblings PERFORMANCE aide and DISESASES aide later. For the time being, you and I will navigate a course for LOFT, the most important of the three success components (LOFT, PERFORMANCE, DISEASES) in my humble opinion – no disrespect to my younger siblings intended of course, towards the "Optimal" loft for your geographical location, pigeon breed and team size.

Next, allow me to explain how I work. Of course, currently, you are being introduced to me, your LOFT aide. The next step in our journey is matching a loft design to your particular environment. Please locate, on your left, the description of best fit for your situation. I have tried to be comprehensive with my list of various environments. At this stage in our journey I will take you through, step-by-step, instructions for designing, building and accessorizing your optimal loft. I will only suggest various products to use in designing, building and accessorizing your loft. It is up to you to choose the best product based on price and quality. After-all I am simply your LOFT aide not LOFT emperor. Also, please remember while my advice and direction is founded on years (too many years to count if you ask me) of research, experience and most importantly, lengthy discussions with you – the fancier - all information is based on various experienced sources and not from a licensed contractor.

For nearly 20 years, I have had the special privilege of speaking and working with fanciers of all types and locations. Believe it or not, I have been presented with almost every LOFT problem from new fanciers to experienced to weathered fanciers from every corner of the world, while working at JEDDS. It is with that knowledge that I suggest to you the following framework to view the world of LOFTS.

I believe modular LOFT design is the optimal foundation for future growth, if and/ or when you decide to move locations, change breed of birds, or increase the size of your team. Accordingly, I have purposefully developed designs for you that have brought thousands of fanciers over hundreds of years of success and enjoyment. By building with flexibility and modularity in mind I have eliminated the headaches and painful stories many of your fellow fanciers have experienced. I want you to not only succeed as a competitor, but also more importantly, ENJOY time with the birds that bring you relaxation and pleasure. Many fanciers, unfortunately, forget this disposition. Fortunately for you, both winning and relaxation go hand and hand when you utilize my modular LOFT designs.
